It's Her Birthday!

Trixie has really created another beautiful kit, called It's Her Birthday. And I love how she designed it. The colors, patterns, the theme elements... everything just meshes so perfectly. I decided to scrap photos of my sister's first birthday, which in some days feels like yesterday. She is now 6, almost 7.. those years go by so quickly! I also used a retired template by Little Green Frog Designs.

I also used the Cardstock, Bonus Papers and Plaids

Nenita

Yup, that's right, we'll be welcoming a baby girl into our family in September. With this grand milestone in my pregnancy, the day of our ultrasound I knew I had to scrap my feelings and thoughts down. I also tucked in two ultrasound photos, one of her cute little head and the other of her tiny little feet. For this layout, I used  Just One Kiss by Trixie Scraps Designs, Little Ladybug alphas, and Bring us A Figgy Pudding template by Little Green Frog Designs.

Achor's Away!

There's just something special about nautical theme. I seem to gravitate towards it and love it so much. And when I saw this newly designed nautical kit, I fell in love. The color combo, the beachy elements, and of course the patterns! Scrapping with it was just so natural. While I don't have any nautical themed photos, I thought these were a perfect match as my little one is such a fish! He loves, loves the water! Hope you like it.

Lucky Me

Lately, I have been feeling so emotional about the two men in my life.. my wonderful husband and our loving little man Angel. Browsing through the photos I've taken of them together, throughout these past three years I knew I needed to scrap them! Lucky for me Trixie created a beautifully themed kit called Lucky Me, perfect for these memories. I also used a freebie template by Little Green Frog Designs.

Mama's Boy

I've been a scrapping machine this month! It helps when your designers create such wonderful products of course. The duo Bella Gypsy have done it again with this fantastic boy kit, called Mama's Boy. I can certainly relate to this theme as my little one is growing up, but is and always will be mine. We just have a grand connection it seems. And scrapping this photo of him was just too easy. I hope you like it!

Prima Ballerina

Trixie really out did herself with her latest collection! I love the overall elegance, the color combos and all the ballet elements. It really made me want to go back home and search up some of my childhood ballet photos, but meanwhile I scrapped this one. Again, without a template! I guess I got my creative juices back.

Challenge Thursday: Going for a Dip

I hope everyone had a great Easter holiday! I had a relaxing long weekend, for the most part, and was able to scrap a few layouts. Here's one I did for Trixie's 4/4 Challenge Thursday. Mary Kate designed a free template to use so be sure to head on over to her blog to snatch it up, here.

Here's my take on the template challenge:

I used Dye Job by Trixie Scraps Designs for this layout.

Nap Happy

Lately I've been looking at Angel's baby photos. Perhaps, preparing myself for the new little one coming in September. Well while digging around on my hard drive, I found this adorable shot and knew the perfect kit to use to scrap it! It's a new kit called Nap Happy by Bella Gypsy. I also used the Word Art pack and Bonus Papers.
